Our audiometric testing is conducted with the use of a Smart Tone Diagnostic Device, sound proof headphones and a brand new sound booth! Our machine is portable therefore we can complete testing on-site if a quiet room is available or testing can be conducted in our sound booth located at JorAnn Safety in Kindersley.
We follow the Saskatchewan Employment Act and the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations, 2020. Audiometric Testing is part of the CSA Z1007-26 Hearing Loss Prevention Program Management and CSA Z107.6-26 Audiometric Testing for use in Hearing Loss Prevention Programs. By ensuring accurate/valid results, we are assisting employers and workers to prevent hearing loss due to occupational noise exposure.
A Registered Nurse certified in audiometric testing is required to review all audiometric results and provide feedback directly to the employees. A certified audiometric technician will complete the testing.
