If you need results fast, this is the best option for you. You will receive results same day, and if the result is negative, you can leave our office with a Clean Card in hand. Clean Cards are a wallet-sized copy of a negative test which can get you on a work site quickly.
Any inconclusive or non negative results from these tests should always be accompanied by laboratory drug testing. Laboratory based urine drug testing is recognized by the Canadian Model for Providing a Safe Workplace: Alcohol and Drug Guidelines and Work Rule and the Department of Transportation (DOT) as the best practice within our industry, and it is legally defensible.
Urine drug testing completed in the laboratory is the most accurate type of drug testing. If you can afford to wait for the urine drug test result, this is our first recommendation for drug testing. Laboratory based urine drug testing is recognized by the Canadian Model for Providing a Safe Workplace: Alcohol and Drug Guidelines and Work Rule and the Department of Transportation (DOT) as the best practice within our industry, and it is legally defensible.
Certain situations can make oral fluid drug testing the best choice for you, such as testing in a remote location where access is limited, shy-bladder situations and in some post-incident and reasonable cause scenarios (Canadian Model recognizes oral fluid testing for post-incident and reasonable cause). It is important to note that oral fluid is not as accepted as urine testing, therefore urine drug testing should be the primary option.
Oral Fluid collections can be sent for testing to the laboratory so you have the most accurate result. We utilize several laboratories that can process different types of oral fluid for results.
Breath alcohol testing determines the concentration of alcohol in a breath sample. We administer breath alcohol testing using evidential breath-testing devices for both screening tests and confirmation tests, to ensure accurate results. Screening Tests – Determines if a person’s alcohol concentration level is above 0.02 Confirmation Tests – Determines if a person’s alcohol concentration level is above 0.04. If a person’s screening test indicates an alcohol concentration level above 0.02, a breath alcohol confirmation test is performed. Our alcohol testing is administered by Certified Breath Alcohol Technicians and our equipment is regularly calibrated.

Hydrostatic Hose Testing.
In these tests hoses are filled with water then pressurized in accordance with either the NAHAD standards (usually 1 and a half times working pressure) or in some cases where the customer requires a more stringent test even higher pressures to ensure that the hose assembly is assembled safely and reliably and will exceed performance needs in the field. While it is rare to have a hose assembly leak when testing, it is much better to find out about a manufacturer defect or installation issue before the hose is in the field.
Depending on the regulations in your area most hose tests need to be conducted at least annually in accordance with CSA standards.
Electrical/Conductivity Testing.
Hoses that carry flammable liquids, or operate in environments where static discharge can be a safety concern need to make sure that their hoses are not only the right type, but also assembled correctly and tested to confirm that they won’t pose a safety concern. If a chemical hose or fuel hose carrying flammable liquids isn’t properly grounded from end to end, then static electricity can build up and spark causing fire and explosion. When we assemble hoses for these applications and others which require end to end conductivity we have a 100% grounding protocol to ensure the hose is safe to use. We can provide test certification upon request for these hose assemblies giving piece of mind that you and your team are protected. Use and abuse can lead to breaks in the grounding wire and it is important that this be detected and the hose be removed from service, this comes standard in conjunction with your hydrostatic hose test.
